Can I liquidate online?

Last updated: October 21, 2021

The quick answer

Yes everything to liquidate a company can be done online. If you want to have a meeting we can do this by video using Zoom, Teams or other services. All of the signatures that we need can be done electronically.

In more detail

ONLINE LIquidation

We can do everything by email and online to liquidate your company. This usually takes seven days for a Members Voluntary Liquidation. It can sometimes be done in seven days for a Creditors Voluntary Liquidation but this can take up to 14 days if shareholders need the full statutory notice period.

TO START WE NEED TO WORK OUT YOUR ASSETS AND LIABILITIES

The first step is to work out your assets and liabilities. We will also need to know if you have any employees owed redundancy. We then work out from this what type of liquidation or insolvency process is best for you.

If you want to contact me I can email you the list of what we will need to see.

If you know the process that you want to use we can send you a fee quote. In most cases this is fixed.

tip

If you need insolvency advice the earlier you talk to someone like us the better as you will have more options. We can help, contact us today.

Just a quick email to say a heartfelt thank you for your very calm, considered, expert advice regarding my circumstances on Tuesday. Things looked bleak before you explained my options much more clearly, in simple layman’s terms.
